History of the Building:

Located at 9 East Broad Street, One Divine Design, founded by Terri Ingram in 2017, is a shop that provides custom screenprinting and embroidery. Before it was home to One Divine Design, 9 East Broad Street has housed a plethora of businesses throughout the years. The first documentation of a business in the building is in 1885, with 9 East Broad Street housing a dentist office. From 1895 through 1911, a jewelry store used the space. In 1936, the building became home to Matthews Billiards Parlor, which later, in 1949, became Woodrow Craven Billiards. The next documented use for the building was in 1983, as the building became the state assistant district attorney child support office. The building was purchased by Terri Ingram in 2016, and 9 East Broad Street continues to be a historic pillar of the downtown historic district.
